is a place of beauty

and endless possibility

where the sparkling blue marina

touches the edges

of the sky

and you can hang your legs

over the boardwalk

or sit

in one of the swinging benches

to gaze out over

the water

and to me

this place was

the only city

i ever wanted

to live

until eventually

my home was no longer a town

but a person

and i found

i belong

wherever

he is.
