i have crossed the country
more than once
on a journey from
one home
to the other
and i miss all the things
i have seen
from spray painted cars
to pink and orange sunsets
and more than that
i miss the people i traveled with
but the sadness was worth it
for all the love i felt
in each of our
beautiful
goodbyes.
